Tracking a windy afternoon before a dramatic drop in temperatures

Today: Afternoon highs warm into the upper 60s today thanks to strong winds out of the southwest. Wind gust up to 40 mph are possible this afternoon thanks to the passage of a low pressure system nearby. Winds remain strong late this afternoon but eventually tapper down to max gusts reaching near 30 mph heading into sunset.

Tonight: Winds remain gusty up to 30 mph tonight as overnight lows fall dramatically to the mid to upper 20s. Skies become partly cloudy tonight.

Extended: Wednesday feels very cool as afternoon highs only reach into the upper 30s with strong northwesterly flowing winds. Conditions remain dry until Friday with more chances of scattered showers heading into Sunday and next Monday.
