Tracking a sunny and seasonal gameday

Today: Clear skies allow temperatures to fall to near freezing early in the morning. Sunshine still helps out as we reach the lower 50s again this afternoon.

Tomorrow: Sunny to start, bringing highs back to the 50s. Clouds begin to fill in late in the afternoon ahead of evening showers. Expect steady rain to begin near sundown and continue overnight.

Extended: A low pressure system drives showers back through Central Missouri Saturday afternoon with heavy downpours expected into the overnight hours. Showers push out Sunday afternoon with most of the area seeing 1/2" to 1" in rainfall. Dry weather returns for the beginning of the week with highs climbing to the low 60s by Tuesday. Another system is expected to move through late Tuesday but ingredients for rainfall look to align outside our region. Still, low chances for rain remain and this will work to keep temperatures slightly below average for the remainder of the week.
