Tracking a good travel day Wednesday, rain by Thanksgiving

TONIGHT: Mostly clear, lows in the upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Increasing clouds and mild with highs near 60. A few showers possible after midnight.

EXTENDED: We have another nice day ahead tomorrow with slightly more cloud cover toward the end of the day. Highs get to about 60, and with clouds building in we'll only fall to the lower 40s by Thursday morning. A few showers are possible after midnight on Wednesday into Thursday morning, with scattered showers through much of the day on Thanksgiving. That will keep temperatures around 50 or cooler on Thursday, with clouds beginning to clear out on Friday. Rain amounts will likely be between 0.1" and 0.25". We're cool on Friday behind the cold front, with morning temperatures in the upper 30s and a high near 50. Another stronger low pressure system moves in from the southwest on Saturday, bringing more widespread rain throughout the day. This will keep us in the lower 50s and I'm expecting about an inch of rain, with the highest amounts along and south of I-70. Showers exit overnight, leaving us dry on Sunday with temperatures topping out in the lower 50s. We'll have sunshine to start off next week, but we could see a few showers by Tuesday. Temperatures remain seasonable with highs in the low 50s.
