Tracking cold wind chills, lots of sunshine this weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and breezy with lows in the teens. Wind chills in the upper single digits to low teens.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with wind chills in the low teens in the morning. Highs in the mid-30s with wind chills topping out near 20 in the afternoon.

EXTENDED: Winds will be somewhat strong from the northwest on Saturday as a weak cold front moves through, bringing wind chills into the low teens by Saturday evening. On Sunday, with clear skies we'll wake up to temperatures in the teens, and the wind chill between 8-10 degrees. Afternoon temperatures finally warm into the mid-40s on Sunday as winds shift back to the southwest. The polar air mass that's been sitting over us all week will finally work its way east, allowing the jet stream to flatten out and temperatures to return to near average in the mid-50s for most of the week. A low pressure system could bring a chance of rain on Thanksgiving with slightly cooler temperatures behind it on Friday. Right now, the rest of the holiday weekend looks mild, with temperatures getting back into the 50s next Saturday.
