Tracking a bitterly cold end to the workweek

TODAY: Brutally cold in the morning with single digit wind chills. Conditions barely recover by the afternoon with the feels-like in the teens.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and cold with highs in the upper 30s. More gusty conditions will put wind chills in the teens during game time.

EXTENDED: Sunday is warmer with sunshine and highs getting into the lower 40s. The jet stream begins to lift north into next week, getting our temperatures closer to normal in the low to mid-50s through Wednesday. I am tracking the potential for a low pressure system to impact the area on Thanksgiving, but there's a lot of disagreement in forecast models on how this is going to play out. For now, Mid-Missouri looks to be in the upper 40s with a chance of rain. Behind the system, it looks cooler than average for next weekend.
