Tracking winter chill in the coming days

TODAY: Mostly cloudy with a few flurries north of I-70. Highs in the lower 30s with the wind chill in the teens.

TOMORROW: Temperatures climbing to near 40 though high winds will keep the feels-like in the 20s.

EXTENDED: A weak cold front will bring a chance for non-accumulating light snow showers on Thursday evening, and drop us back to about 30 for Friday's high temperature. Overnight temperatures dip into the teens starting Thursday night, with wind chills falling into the single digits Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings. The upper pattern begins to flatten out a bit into early next week, allowing temperatures to get closer to average in the low to mid-50s.
