Tracking a cool fall weekend

Today: Macon and Monroe counties are in a Frost Advisory through 8 AM Saturday morning, and farther south we'll dip into the upper 30s by daybreak. Mostly sunny to start with increasing clouds through the afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s.

Tomorrow: Breezy and cooler as highs drop to the mid-60s. Wind gusts up to 20 mph.

Extended: The coolest air of the season is approaching early next week, likely bringing an end to the growing season. Monday morning starts off in the mid-30s, but we only make it to about 50 for a high.  By Monday and Tuesday nights we'll dip below 30 degrees, bringing a killing freeze for much of Mid-Missouri. We get back into the 60s with continued dry weather Thursday and Friday, and it's looking beautiful next Saturday for Mizzou homecoming with highs in the 70s.
