Tracking sunshine and seasonal temps ahead

KMIZ

Today: Calm and quiet to start with winds picking up out of the south during the day. Expect gusts up to 20 mph and this boosts highs to the mid-80s.

Tomorrow: A dry cold front moves through early Sunday morning, forcing winds to shift from the northwest. This cools temperatures dramatically, with highs back to the low 70s to wrap up the weekend.

Extended: Continued northerly flow will lead to seasonably cool temperatures nearly all week as Mid-MO barely reaches the mid-70s. A few weak disturbances may possibly traverse the stable upper air pattern but will do little more than bring cloud cover throughout the week.
