Tracking showers exiting for the end of the workweek
TODAY: Showers continue for the midafternoon, but are greatly limited thanks to some dry air in the lower levels of the atmosphere. Additionally, the rainfall will focus northwest and mostly along and north of I-70, so folks near and south of HWY 50 will see lesser chances, especially to the east.
TONIGHT: Rain will come to an end this evening, likely around or just after the dinner hour. We'll be dry and cool overnight as clouds exit, allowing lows to fall to the mid-50s.
EXTENDED: The weekend brings more sunshine, with temperatures making it back to the 80s Saturday afternoon. A cold front is poised to swing through the area by the evening, though we stay dry and will see winds switch out of the northwest. This brings highs down to the 70s Sunday, and this trend of seasonal temperatures is set to last through next week.
