Tracking slightly warmer temperatures Thursday
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and comfortable with lows in the lower 60s.
TOMORROW: Few more clouds with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s.
EXTENDED: We'll be a touch warmer tomorrow with a few more clouds as a disturbance tries to move in ahead of a weak cold front late in the day into Thursday evening. Friday is cooler behind this system with highs in the lower 80s and partly cloudy skies thanks to upper jet stream winds remaining from the northwest. Over the weekend, upper high pressure starts to move back more in our direction, pulling in winds from the south/southwest. This brings us back into the low to mid-90s by Sunday with a heat index between 96-97 as a weak warm from pushes in from the southwest. We'll be right on the edge of the high pressure ridge next week, allowing a train of disturbances to bring disruptive weather each day. Showers and storms are possible Monday through Wednesday, with cooler than average temperatures likely toward the middle and end of next week.
