Tracking a return of cold conditions

TODAY: Breezy with clouds exiting in the morning; wind gusts will peak up to 30 mph. Highs reach the mid-40s.

TOMORROW: Bright and warmer. Highs in the mid-50s.

EXTENDED: A cold front brought dangerous storms to end the workweek and will bring back winter-like chill for Saturday. This is short-lived with winds shifting out of the south tomorrow, ushering in yet another warmup. Expect some frigid mornings near freezing to start the workweek but warmer conditions will return quickly. Highs jump up near 60 degrees on Monday and approach record levels midweek. Record highs will be in jeopardy on Tuesday (forecast: 67, record: 70), and more likely on Wednesday (forecast: 73, record: 70). We're more disturbed late week as a system will push through Wednesday night to kick off a round of storms and bring a return of cooler (but still above average) temperatures. Chances for rain linger through the weekend and highs steadily fall to the low 50s.
