Tracking another warm afternoon

record
KMIZ

THURSDAY: We’re starting off mild this morning and we’ll only go up from here! Our record high is 72 and plenty of sunshine will help us make a run at that this afternoon.

TONIGHT: We’ll hang on to mostly clear skies overhead as lows settle down in the middle 40’s.

EXTENDED: Winds will shift out of the north tomorrow, keeping us from getting back into the 70’s again. We’ll still manage to make it into the middle 60’s with a few more clouds showing up. The cold air starts to show up with this system Friday night with lows falling into the middle 30’s. And it’s here to stay on Saturday, with highs back near 50°. Another disturbance rolls through on Sunday, bringing some shower chances to close out the weekend. Highs will actually warm up into the upper 50’s Sunday before falling back into the 40’s next week. With overnight lows set to make a return to the freezing mark, a storm system moving out of the Rockies around the middle of next week is raising an eyebrow. It’s tough to make out the details on this system right now, so be stay with us as we track some more precipitation Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
