Tracking a cold start Friday, with a warmer weekend

BLACK FRIDAY: After a chilly Thanksgiving day, the overnight hours dip even colder. Despite relaxing winds, we keep a slight breeze out of the north and skies remain clear into the first half of the night. The one thing making early Friday more bearable will be a brief lull in wind as winds shift to a more southerly direction. This will help with the wind chill factor briefly, but sooner or later, a south breeze will pick back up on Friday. This, in addition to more sunshine, will warm us to nearly 50 degrees by the afternoon.

SATURDAY: Our warm up continues making Saturday the warmest day of the holiday weekend. A brief wave will sweep through on Saturday, bringing with it some clouds and another north breeze. Some models want to pop a few showers, but Saturday should stay dry, as rain looks unlikely at this point.

EXTENDED: Overall, Saturday will be a great day for Small Business Saturday shopping or holiday decorating. Sunday is a bit cooler behind Saturday's disturbance. Next week starts off mild with highs in the upper 50s Monday and Tuesday, and largely quiet weather through the end of the week.
