Tracking a chilly Thanksgiving before a weekend warmup

THANKSGIVING DAY: Showers before sunrise with clouds exiting quickly. Highs in the upper 30s; a steady breeze will keep feels-like in the 20s throughout the afternoon.

TOMORROW: Cold start for early shoppers with lows in the teens and low 20s. A warmup kicks in with the return of southerly winds and highs reach close to 50 degrees.

EXTENDED:  Stay bundled up for the holidays with chilly conditions on Thanksgiving and early Black Friday. We rebound back to around 50 by Friday afternoon as winds shift south, with even warmer temperatures for Saturday as we climb back into the upper 50s. It will be a great day for Small Business Saturday shopping or holiday decorating. Sunday is a bit cooler as a fast-moving weak system slides in from the north. We'll notice a few more clouds due to that Saturday night but remain dry into Sunday with highs near 50. Next week starts off mild with highs in the upper 50s Monday and Tuesday, and largely quiet weather until the end of the week.
