Tracking a warm up into the weekend
TODAY: Today brings the coldest start this week, with lows in the mid-20's. Winds, however, are shifting out of the south early today, and will bring more warmth by this afternoon. We're breezy at times with south winds sustained between 10-15 mph, gusting to 20 mph at times. Expect some increase in clouds, but not enough to impede our sunshine. We're warmer, with highs in the low 50's Friday.
TONIGHT: Skies will cloud up tonight, and winds will remain southerly. This brings a warmer start early Saturday. Temperatures start in the upper 30's.
EXTENDED: Saturday, we climb into the upper 50's and lower 60's areawide. Clouds increase later in the day ahead of a cold front that passes overnight into early Sunday. This front looks like it will struggle to bring showers areawide, but the chance for rain is still present. Rain chances are best along and south of I-44. Next week starts cool and clear, with rain chances inching up near mid-week.
