Tracking a warm up and the cold front that will end it

MONDAY: After starting in the mid-30s, expect a nice warm up today. Abundant sunshine, and warmer more of a southerly wind at the surface will bring highs back into the 60's this afternoon. We'll see some clouds through the morning, but mostly sunny skies return this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Temperatures will drop to a modest middle 40's by early Tuesday morning under partly cloudy skies. This will set us up nicely to warm into the 70's Tuesday.

EXTENDED: With more southerly flow under partly cloudy skies, temperatures are much warmer than average Tuesday. This trend will continue through Wednesday morning, where a cold front is likely to abruptly halt our warm up and send us spiraling back into the low 30's for early Thursday. The end of the week looks drier and more seasonal for this time of the year.
