Tonight: Scattered Showers and storms will continue to form along a warm front moving from southern Missouri towards northeastern Missouri. The greatest threat with these storms tonight will be heavy downpours and some isolated strong winds with lightning. Showers and storms park over northern Missouri into the late evening leading to impressive rainfall totals between 1-2 inches. The overnight low tonight drops to 52 degrees with winds out of the south.

Tomorrow: Showers and storms develop into the early morning hours leading to scattered heavy downpours and lightning. These storms clear out by noon allowing for a break in the rain. By Sunday afternoon, scattered storms begin to form out ahead of an incoming cold front. These storms will most likely become strong to severe with the greatest threats being hail greater than 1 inch in diameter, winds in excess of 65 mph, possible flooding, and the chance of a few isolated tornados. These storms continue to push east as a line of strong to severe storms pushes in by the early evening hours. By 11 pm Sunday night, showers will push east of Central Missouri towards St. Louis.

Extended: The passing cold front will cool Central Missouri down dramatically for Monday with a high topping out in the upper '50s. Clouds remain with us Monday and clear out by Tuesday for a mostly clear day. Another low-pressure system pulls in Tuesday night leading to off and on showers lasting Wednesday and ending Friday morning.
