Tracking some stray showers this morning

WINDSHEILD WIPERS
KMIZ

WEDNESDAY: Some light showers will be possible throughout the morning. Most of us look to stay dry this afternoon, but we’ll pick up a few more clouds later today as this front slides through. Areas east of HWY 54 could pick up an isolated storm this evening, but they’ll push out of here quickly. Highs will still manage to make it into the 70’s.

TONIGHT: We’ll stay dry tonight as clouds push out. Temperatures will fall into the upper 40’s.

EXTENDED: Some clouds look to return in the wake of this system tomorrow. Those, along with a steady northwest wind will keep highs in the 50’s. We’ll be getting off to a cool start on Friday, but sunshine returning will boost temperatures back into the upper 60’s to end the week. We’ll stay there on Saturday before more showers and storms return Saturday night. Those look to push out by Sunday morning, but will return Sunday night. That round could linger into the start of next week but should depart by Monday afternoon. Another system will bring back rain chances by the middle of next week.
