Tracking a soggy start to Thursday

more rain
KMIZ

THURSDAY: The rain’s pretty wide-reaching this morning. That will thin out to more scattered showers this afternoon, so you’ll want to keep the umbrella handy. A few of us might even pick up some brief sunshine as highs top out near 70.

TONIGHT: Scattered showers with an isolated rumble of thunder overnight. Lows will make their way towards the middle 50’s.

EXTENDED: We’ll hang onto the scattered showers into Friday morning. Those passing rain chances will stick around through Friday afternoon before clearing off to the east once and for all during the early evening. Highs will be held in the middle 60’s tomorrow. Once we’re clear of the rain, we’re set to enjoy the weather finally. Highs will only be in the middle 60’s again Saturday with lots of sunshine trying to make up for a soggy week. The bright skies carry over into Sunday, with highs warming to near 70. We hang on to the low 70’s for the first part of next week before a weak system slides in towards the middle of the week.
