Tracking a well-deserved break from the rain

welcome back sunshine
KMIZ

FRIDAY: We finally get to enjoy some dry weather around Mid-Missouri! Temperatures will only top out in the low 80’s as the humidity takes a break. We’ll pick up a few afternoon clouds but other than that sailing smoothly into a holiday weekend.

TONIGHT: We keep the mostly clear skies overhead. Lows will tumble into the low 60’s once again.

EXTENDED: We warm things up slightly on Saturday into the middle 80’s. That will be the start of a trend we’re tracking through the weekend, with highs in the upper 80’s on Independence Day. Humidity will creep back up by Sunday as well, but not to oppressive levels. We’re in the low 90’s Monday and Tuesday with rain chances entering the picture by the middle of next week.
