Tracking another cold start
MONDAY: A chilly start will set the stage for another cool afternoon. Clouds look to return toward midday, and could bring a light shower to folks south of I-70. That cloud cover and winds still out of the northwest will keep temperatures in the mid to upper 50's.
TONIGHT: Rain becomes more widespread in coverage. Still favoring places along and south of the interstate as lows fall into the low to mid 40's.
EXTENDED: Those showers will stick around into the first part of Tuesday before thinning out toward the evening. Again, temperatures will be stuck in the 50's, but might be the last time for a while. The warming trend starts on Wednesday, getting into the middle 60's, with mid 70's on the way Thursday. As soon as that happens, storm chances increase as well. Still a lot to sort through with regards to timing, which will have an impact on strength. Stay with us on this forecast, as we can't seem to shake showers or storms even into the weekend.
