Clouds & rain chances return this weekend

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds. Not as cold. Lows fall into the lower 40s.

SATURDAY: A round of morning showers and a rumble of thunder will move through the region, before drying out and leaving us cloudy in the afternoon. Temperatures will feel a bit warmer with more moisture in the atmosphere. Highs will top in the upper 50s and low 60s.

EXTENDED: Sunday will feature another round of storms passing through the area. Some storms in the afternoon could produce a strong wind gust or small hail. Especially near I-44. Much colder air will filter in Sunday night, bringing a chance of a few snow showers Sunday night. No accumulation is expected. Temperatures 15-25 degrees below normal are expected behind the front for the start of the work week.
