Tracking one last cold start
VALENTINE'S DAY: Off to another brutal start with single-digit temperatures across the board and wind chills below zero in some spots will turn out better this afternoon, with highs making it into the upper 20s and low 30s. Keep the sunglasses handy along with the coat with more sunshine expected today.
TONIGHT: Any plans this evening look to be in some good shape, with overnight lows only falling into the low 20s thanks to winds out of the southeast.
EXTENDED: The weekend's fairly quiet with cloud cover returning. Saturday features highs in the middle 40s, with a slightly warmer afternoon on Sunday near 50. Highs stay in the 50s on Monday, but we're tracking the return of rain chances to kick off the work week. We'll have to watch Tuesday with the return of cold air, and moisture attempting to make a push back into the viewing area. High pressure looks to do a good job at holding it up south of the viewing area, though. We will get back to reality with highs only in the 30s and 40s Tuesday and Wednesday.
