TUESDAY: Mix of sun and clouds throughout the day. Highs reach into the low 40s.
TONIGHT: Snow chances increase after midnight as the next storm system starts to influence mid-Missouri. Snow looks to be light in nature throughout the night, but a few slushy roads are possible by the morning.
EXTENDED: That morning snow will transition to a cold rain for most of us during the daytime on Wednesday. By the evening it's expected to change back to snow. Wednesday evening is when we're expecting the highest accumulations, enough to impact the commute certainly. This snow looks to taper off into Thursday morning, but will likely have enough on the ground to impact the morning commute. Conditions will be slow to improve throughout the day Thursday as cold air funnels into the region with afternoon highs struggling to get out of the teens. Lows Thursday night into Friday morning look to fall into the single digits before warming back into the 30s by the afternoon. Warming trend continues into the weekend as highs reach the mid to upper 40s before rain chances move in Sunday.
