Chance for light snow tonight, little impacts expected
THIS AFTERNOON: Clouds continue to hold strong across mid-Missouri. Temperatures are chilly, in the upper 30s and low 40s. Some sun make peek through later in the afternoon.
TONIGHT: An upper level disturbance is rotating out of central Iowa tonight. This system will bring a chance at a couple snow showers overnight. Impacts are not expected at this time, however, a dusting of snow is possible on your car as well as elevated surfaces out the door in the morning. Lows fall into the upper 20s.
EXTENDED: We'll be left in the cold on Saturday with breezy conditions and highs in the upper 30s, but Sunday looks salvageable. It will be breezy again to close out the weekend, but temperatures will get back into the upper 40s and low 50s. Our next chance of rain looks to hold off until Monday night as temperatures stay above average, but at this point is looking pretty meager. That system moves through by Tuesday, leaving temperatures in the low 40s but we'll recover into the upper 40s and low 50s again by Wednesday and Thursday, ahead of our next weather-maker.
