A week of mild starts coming to an end
SUNDAY: We're drying out this morning, but we'll have an outside chance of picking up a spot sprinkle this afternoon and evening. Temperatures after a mild start this morning will struggle to warm up much from where they start, into the middle 50s.
TONIGHT: The day will be breezy, but those winds pick up a bit more overnight as cold air returns. Overnight lows will dip back into the low 30s, and wind chills will fall to the low 20s by daybreak.
EXTENDED: It will be chilly on Monday and Tuesday compared to this last week as highs only manage the upper 30s to low 40s. Sunshine may be hard to come by Monday but will be easier to find on Tuesday as those winds finally settle down for New Year's Eve. The first day of the new year will feature a warm-up back into the upper 40s to low 50s, which is where we'll end the week. We're tracking our next chance of rain moving in on Thursday and Friday as a frontal boundary slides through.
