Tracking light rain to add to a chilly Thursday
TODAY: Showers return Thursday morning, with some seeing some light sprinkles as soon as sunrise. Precipitation will increase in coverage and intensity, through the day. Still, rain will be light to moderate at times, bringing at most another quarter inch of rain, with many picking up less.
TONIGHT: Rain exits by the dinner hour, but clouds hold on. Temperatures fall into the mid-30s overnight.
EXTENDED: Clouds are around at sunrise, and stick through midday, where we'll have a chance at some sunshine by Friday afternoon where temps settle in the high 40s. Saturday starts dry, but more light rain returns Saturday night, lasting into Sunday. High temps climb only into the 40s all weekend. Highs in the 40s stick around through the middle of next week. We'll have a chance to warm more around Wednesday, as a low from the west may pull in more warmth just ahead of it, but until then, we stay cool. Trends show near or cooler than average temperatures are likely over the next 10-14 days.
