Tracking a cooler afternoon before a weekend warm-up

Today: Temperatures remain in the mid-30s this afternoon as winds have switched out of the northwest following this morning passing cold front. Skies look to remain partly cloudy.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to nearly 20 degrees as winds remain out of the northwest at 10-15 mph. Wind chills border the upper single to lower double digits late tonight.

Extended: Friday sees a slight increase in temperatures closer to 40 degrees with some slight chances of a light mix with no impacts expected overnight. Temperatures rise heading into the weekend eventually reaching just above 60 degrees by Sunday. Chances of scattered showers increase Sunday morning with widespread showers prevailing by Monday.
