Tracking weekend showers

Tonight: the light drizzle seen earlier Thursday begins to dissipate off to the east by 6 pm this afternoon revealing partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows cool to the lower 30s to kick off early morning showers. Winds remain out of the northwest at 5-10 mph adding a cool breeze.

Tomorrow: Skies become mostly sunny with cooler northwesterly flowing winds. Highs top out back into the lower 50s.

Extended: A low pressure system drives showers back through Central Missouri Saturday afternoon with heavy downpours expected into the overnight hours. Showers push out Sunday afternoon with areas seeing up to 1/2" in rainfall total. Conditions remain dry until Tuesday night where more rainfall is expected into Wednesday morning.
