Tracking a steep cooldown this week

Tonight: Winds switch back out of the northwest past midnight tonight as overnight lows cool to the upper 40s.

Tomorrow: Temperatures remain into the mid-60s as winds gust up to 20 mph from the northwest. Skies remain mostly sunny.

Extended: A steep cooldown is in store beginning Sunday night. Strong winds out of the northwest promote dry and cooler conditions with afternoon highs around 50 degrees Monday. Overnight lows cool to the upper 20s throughout the first half of the week. Skies remain mostly sunny throughout the week. Winds switch out of the southwest heading into the weekend leading to an increase in temperatures heading into Mizzou's homecoming weekend.
