Tracking cooler temperatures with gusty winds

Today: Rain has moved out of Mid-Missouri as skies will continue clearing. Temperatures top out near 70 degrees as winds gust out of the northwest up to 22 mph.

Tonight: Winds remain gusty up to 20 mph as overnight lows cool to the mid-40s. Skies remain partly cloudy.

Extended: The second half of this week sees cooler temperatures with highs into the mid to lower 60s. Winds gust up to 30 mph on Thursday and Friday aiding in an elevated risk of spreading fires. Conditions remain mostly sunny with decreased relative humidity levels. Widespread frost is possible once again into Friday morning as lows cool to the mid to upper 30s.
