Tracking a slim chance at rain by the end of the forecast

TODAY: Friday is another picturesque day with abundant sunshine, afternoon highs in the low-to-mid 70s, and a light breeze from the east-southeast.

TONIGHT: Some mid-to-high level clouds may arrive this afternoon and evening, but mostly clear skies are the rule overnight. A light breeze remains out of the east.

EXTENDED:

With little change, temperatures on Saturday are similarly striking in the mid-70s by the afternoon. Expect mostly sunny skies with a continued east-northeast breeze. Afternoon highs will remain steadily in the 70s, but likely gradually warm into the upper 70s by Sunday, with sunshine and upper 70s continuing until Wednesday, when a cold front arrives. Our next passing wave brings a cold front through sometime Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. This will bring a slim chance for rainfall, and a slight cool down on Thursday.
