Tracking a calm Sunday with near-record highs this week

Tonight: Skies remain clear Saturday night with temperatures falling near freezing or below. Winds remain out of the southwest at 5-10 mph

Tomorrow: Temperatures slowly warm above average into the lower '50s with mostly sunny skies.

Extended: Tuesday morning cloud cover pulls back into the area from the south allowing for moisture to return to Central Missouri causing possible chances of light isolated showers lasting through Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday afternoon, highs approach the mid-70's potentially burying the past record high of 70 degrees. A cold front slides in from the northwest causing showers and storms across Central Missouri lasting into Thursday morning. Temperatures then begin their descent heading off into the weeke4nd with chances of light showers.
