Tracking a warm up and mid-week rain chances

TODAY: Behind a cold front, temperatures have dropped below freezing for some early this morning. Temperatures will struggle to recover today, climbing into the low to mid-40's this afternoon, but dry weather and partly cloudy skies will remain.

TONIGHT: Clearing skies overnight will make for another chilly morning on Tuesday. Temperatures start below freezing again early Tuesday.

EXTENDED: Warming surges Tuesday afternoon. Expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50's by Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday brings the peak of our warm up, with highs in the 60's. Most of Wednesday will be pleasant and dry, but rain returns late. Widespread showers brings the potential for 0.25 to 0.5" of rain overnight into Thursday morning. By sunrise on Thanksgiving, most are clearing and cool. Thanksgiving looks to be the coolest day of the week as we're warming again into next weekend.
