Sedalia man seriously hurt after being hit by truck in Moniteau County

MONITEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Sedalia man was seriously hurt after being hit by a truck in Moniteau County Monday evening.

The Highway Patrol reported Jeremy Maupin, 46, was hit by Ethan Daniels, 20, on Business 50 west of County Road at 6:15 p.m.

According to the online crash report, Daniels looked at this phone, went off the right side of the road, came back onto the road and hit Maupin.

Troopers say, Maupin was taken to St. Mary's Hospital by Mid-Mo ambulance with serious injuries.

Daniels was not hurt in the crash, the Highway Patrol said.
