WATCH: Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill on big stops in AFC Championship

NEW ORLEANS (KMIZ)

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill trusts his teammates.

The second-year Chief (Tranquill was a Los Angeles Charger before joining Kansas City last season) was among the players taking questions from reporters Tuesday as Super Bowl preparations continued.

Tranquill's comments included one about his defense' work in the AFC Championship Game win over the Buffalo Bills.

"We don't try to play as individuals and chase stats," Tranquill said. "Like we really do play together and that's what makes us great."
