Mizzou’s Hayley Frank leads the charge back into the win column

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team got back to winning ways on Tuesday night. The Tigers took care of North Alabama, 83-72, courtesy of a massive outing from veteran forward Hayley Frank.

The fifth-year player went 11-for-18 from the field with a game-high 29 points. She also added on seven rebounds and an assist. It's her third time getting into double-digits in 2023, but her first time hitting the 20-point mark.

Three other Tigers got into double digits, as well. Freshman Grace Slaughter was second on the team with 13 points. Guard Mama Dembele registered 12 points and guard Ashton Judd came up with 10.

Dembele was a force on defense, as well, coming up with 10 steals on the night.

Up next - head coach Robin Pingeton and company will cap off the five-game home stand with a meeting with Southern Indiana on Monday, Nov. 20. Tip off is sat 7 p.m.
