Mizzou gymnastics punches first-ever ticket to NCAA Championship Final

FORT WORTH, Texas (KMIZ)
For the first time in program history, the Mizzou gymnastics team punched its ticket to the NCAA Championship Final to continue a historic season.
Head coach Shannon Welker and company brought all the drama to Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, as the group sat in third place through the first two rotations. With only the top two teams advancing, MU made headway on the bars in the third rotation.
Tiger standout Mara Titarsolej posted the best score of the night, to that point, for Mizzou, with a 9.9370 to anchor the bars. Her performance, combined with a pair of 9.8875's from Hannah Horton and Olivia Kelly, lifted Mizzou past Florida in the standings, into second place.
After that, Welker and his team finished out on the bars, where Addison Lawrence and Helen Hu put up stellar performances for the Tigers, posting a 9.9125 and 9.9875, respectively.
