COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou's junior pitcher Laurin Krings was named both the Wilson/NFCA Pitcher of the Week and the SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday after two top-notch performances against North Texas.

Krings pitched 15 consecutive scoreless innings last week with 28 total strikeouts. She registered two complete-game shutout wins and a no hitter, allowing just four hits and one walk over the week.

In Friday's opener against UNT, Krings registered her third career no hitter, featured a career-high 17 strikeouts, which is also a Mizzou single-game record.

She concluded the UNT series with a complete-game shutout on Sunday allowing just three hits and one walk while registering nine strikeouts.

The team will be back in action Tuesday at 6 p.m. vs. SIUE at the Mizzou Softball Stadium.
