COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 63-year-old Camdenton man was seriously injured in a crash Friday on Highway 7 near Tranquil Woods Road in Camden County, a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report says.

The report says a 2007 Ford Escape was heading southbound when it went off the right side of the road, hit a traffic sign, hit a tree and overturned. The driver was ejected from the vehicle, the report says.

The man was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report. He was brought to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance. The Ford was totaled.
