Former Mizzou forward commits to Arkansas

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former Mizzou forward Trevon Brazile will be making his way to rival territory for the 2022-23 season, as the freshman announced his commitment to Arkansas via Twitter on Wednesday.

Brazile first entered the transfer portal on March 22, the same day that MU introduced its new men's basketball coach Dennis Gates. The 6'9" forward had a standout debut season for Mizzou, averaging about six points and five rebounds per game. He also ranked in the top 50 nationally for blocked shots through his first year.

Brazile will get a chance to meet Gates and his former team on the court in the upcoming season.
