Police investigated two scenes where multiple shell casings were found in north Columbia on Monday afternoon. It is not yet known if the two are related. The first incident happened around 4:30 p.m. near Edenton Boulevard and International Drive, just off Rangeline Street. No one was hurt, but four shell casings were found on Edenton.

Emergency crews are responding to a crash in south Columbia right now. Crews were first called to the scene around 10:30 Monday morning. It happened on Grindstone Parkway near Bearfield. An amendment has been filed for the Knocker Ball lawsuit after a man was paralyzed in December of 2016. A Boone County man suffered severe injuries, including paralysis, after using the Knocker Ball product. Eight Boone County jail inmates are now facing possible charges of damaging jail property. ABC 17 News checked jail records Monday and found the woman were all rebooked for the alleged charges. The body found inside an abandoned Vandalia home is now with the medical examiner’s office.
