Nearly 20,000 people vote no-excuse absentee in Boone County
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Nearly 20,000 people in Boone County have voted in the Nov. 5 election through in-person, no-excuse absentee voting, according to a social media post from the Boone County Clerk.
No-excuse absentee voting began on Oct. 22 and 19,723 people have voted in Boone County through Friday, according to a graphic posted by the Clerk’s Office.

People who choose to vote need to bring a valid photo ID. Acceptable forms include:
- Missouri driver's license
- Missouri nondriver license
- Passport
- Military ID
In Boone County, no-excuse absentee voting occurs between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. through Monday at the Boone County Government Center.
According to the Boone County Clerk’s website, there will be additional locations on Saturday, Nov. 2 to vote from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Southern Boone Middle School Cafeteria in Ashland and Impact Support Services in Centralia.
