COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Before heading to the polls Tuesday, there are several things Boone County voters need to keep in mind.

If you are going to vote in person, you will need to wear a mask. However, your mask cannot show support or opposition for any candidate or ballot issue. Poll workers will also be required to wear masks and will use sanitizers to keep voting machines clean.

You also need to be sure you have a valid ID with you. Some options include a Missouri drivers or non-drivers license, U.S. passport, Military ID or a Boone County Voter ID card.

There are several central polling places in Boone County, including the Roger B. Wilson Boone County Government Center and the Mizzou Arena. You can find your polling place on the Boone County government website.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Absentee voting ends Monday and the Boone County Clerk’s Office is still providing a curbside option located at the Boone County Government Center until 5 p.m. Monday.
