President Joe Biden on Thursday endorsed changing the Senate's filibuster rules for certain pieces of legislation, such as an abortion-rights bill.
Many Democrats are calling for their party's members to end or suspend the filibuster in the Senate, which allows political minorities to hold up legislation pushed by the majority. Some Democrats, however, have been reluctant to change Senate rules.
