Progress on the new Lake of the Ozarks interchange continues

LAKE OZARK, Mo. (KMIZ)

Drivers are now able to use parts of the new interchange for the intersection of U.S. Route 54, Route W, Business 54, and Osage Hills Road.

All westbound traffic on U.S. Route 54 is now traveling on the final roadway and will no longer be using the temporary bypass. In order for crews to safely remove the bypass median crossovers, westbound Route 54 will have daily lane closures near the interchange for up to a week.

The Business 54 and Wilmore Lane roundabout is now open to travelers.

Motorists in the area are asked to plan for delays, slow down, avoid distractions and watch for crews in work zones.
