Man flown to the hospital after being run over by boat trailer

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 46-year-old Perry man was seriously hurt after he got run over by a boat trailer just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday in Monroe County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 50-year-old Perry man was driving a 2019 Ford F350 in a roundabout at the Robert Allen Boat Ramp of Mark Twain Lake when the truck hit a bump.

The bump caused the 46-year-old man, who was on a boat on the trailer, to fall off. He was then run over by the trailer.

The man was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The truck was not damaged. The driver was not hurt.
