Four vehicles involved in crash on Missouri River Bridge in Jefferson City, one person injured

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Four vehicles were involved in a crash on Tuesday in the westbound lanes of the Missouri River Bridge, according to a press release from the Jefferson City Police Department.

According to the release, a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado – driven by David Hernandez, 42, of Holts Summit – rear-ended a 2005 Ford Explorer – driven by Jeremiah Welling, 44, of Jefferson City. The Ford then rear-ended a 1991 Chevrolet S10 – driven by Jeffrey Iler, 46, of Fulton

The Chevy then, in turn, rear-ended a 2022 Toyota Rav4 that was driven by Rebecca Craighead, 52, of New Bloomfield, the release says. All four vehicles were totaled and three of them were towed from the scene, the release says.

Iler had moderate injuries and was brought to an area hospital, the release says. Westbound traffic was restricted to one lane for about 30 minutes, the release says.
