Three hurt in Morgan County crash

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Three people were hurt – one seriously – in a three-vehicle crash Friday in Morgan County on Highway 5 at Route HH, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash occurred as a 2010 Ford Edge – driven by Miranda Jones, 31, of Centerview – was heading northbound on Highway 5 and hit a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado – driven by Brian Dorsey, 48, of Versailles – according to the report.

The report states that both vehicles then crossed the centerline. The Ford then hit a sign and overturned, while the Chevy was hit by a 2024 Silverado – driven by Robert Young, 65, of Sedalia.

Dorsey suffered serious injuries and was brought to Capital Region Hospital by ambulance. He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.

Young had minor injuries, while his passenger – Lisa Young, 63, of Versailles – had moderate injuries, the report states. Both were taken to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance. Both were wearing seatbelts, according to the report.

All three vehicles were totaled, according to the report.
