Teenager seriously injured in Morgan County crash

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two woman were hurt – one seriously – Monday in a Morgan County crash on Highway 5 on Forest Drive, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash occurred as a 2003 Nissan Xterra – driven by Connor Hasker, 27, of Gravois Mills – was stopped behind a school bus and Amelia Goddard, 19, of Gravois Mills, failed to see the vehicle stopped, according to the report. Goddard hit the Nissan with her 2015 Ford Focus.

Goddard had serious injuries, the report states, while the passenger of the Nissan – Chelsey Collison, 24, of Eldon – had minor injuries. Both were brought to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance. All three people in the crash were wearing seatbelts, the report states.

The Ford was totaled, while the Nissan had moderate damage, the report states.
